Calloused hearts aim to protect the highest magnitude of preciousness in the earthly kingdom. What if our hearts are not protected by armor, but instead starved of their vital function to love, connect, and vibrate in their ordained amplitudes? What if the hearts strongest protection is in surrender to faith of what open hearts are capable of? Our communities need unguarded hearts, not out of naïveté, but out of ravenous hope in how open hearts weave networks of care that actually protect us. De-armoring the heart is how we recognize the constitutional preciousness in ourselves and others.
This virtual breathwork session will be about breathing into the furthest limits that have constricted our hearts in the past and gently moving unprocessed pain through the body to make space for deeper, harder and more vigorous love for ourselves and others. We’ll discuss the systemic physiology connecting the nervous , respiratory, and cardiovascular systems and play with embodiment of these systems during a breathwork practice.
Emergence is the process of chaos becoming order. Chaos reigns within and without, and most human coping strategies are futile attempts to avoid encounters with chaos. We need chaos as it is from where order emerges; yet we cannot control chaos, only negotiate our relationship to it.
This breathwork session will be an encounter with the surrealism of chaos and a meditation for surrender to chaos’ ever-evolving arc towards order.
When we seek transformation, we almost always seek it for the sake of more love & joy. Why not go straight to the source ?
A new love awaits our collective adoption, a decentralized empire of love, a devotion to the demands to loving love itself, love as open source, love as a blockchain. How do we find the courage to desire love but wisdom to not control love?
This virtual breathwork session, unofficial sequel to De-Armoring the Heart, we’ll traipse through definitions of love (linguistic), experiences of love (neurobiological), and the demands of love (technical).
